How can I distribute my App?
There are a few steps required to publish the App:
- Create an Apple Developer Account and Google Play account. You will have to pay a $99 annual fee to Apple and a one time $25 fee to Google.
- Invite Makappi to both accounts. This is required so we can publish your App.
- There is a validation process on the App Store and the Play store. Publishing the App can take up to two weeks.
How can I create an account on the App Store (Apple) and Play Store (Android)?
- Create an Apple Developer account for your company here. You can setup auto-renew to prevent disruption. Make sure you register as a Organization and not as an Individual. Makappi only works for Organization Accounts.
- You will get a call/message from Apple to confirm your enrollment. It then can take up to 24h for Apple to process the payment and create your account. Once it's done, you will be able to invite us, click here to see how.
- You will need a Gmail account, you can create one here
- Your Gmail account need to have 2-Step Verification enabled. You can do it here
- Create a Google Developer account for your company here.
How to add Makappi to your Google Developer Account?
Once your Google Account is created you can invite Makappi.
- Go to the 'User and Permissions' page of your Google Play Console.
- Click on 'Invite new users' and add team@makappi.com with 'Admin' privileges. Then tap on 'Invite User'
- In the 'Permission' section, click on 'Account permissions' then select 'Admin (all permissions)' next to App access
- Then tap on 'Invite User' in the bottom right of the screen
How to add Makappi to your Apple Developer Account?
After your account is created and your payment is processed you will be able to invite Makappi to your Apple Developer Account.
- Navigate to your App Store Connect account here.
- Click on 'Users and Access' in the top menu bar
- Click the '+' button, then add the email team@makappi.com as an Admin with access to all 'Additional Resources'
- Click on 'Invite' to send the invitation
